Filton or Portsmouth Based (Hybrid working 2-3 days per week on site)
£27.22 an hour Umbrella Inside IR35
12 Month Contract initially.
This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based In Filton or Portsmouth. Hybrid working, 2-3 days per week on site.
Role Description
- Responsible for various aspects of Project Management & Governance (P&G) processes supporting the Programme.
- Provide support to both the P&G team and the wider Support team to aid delivery of the programme.
- The jobholder requires the ability to arrive at conclusions and follow the most appropriate course of action. Works within procedural constraints or process and Programme delivery requirements.
- The post requires good knowledge and experience with Excel and Powerpoint.
- Undertakes a range of specialist duties specific to the Defence Solutions Support Programme.
Knowledge:
- Can use all Microsoft Office software comprehensively i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Project management knowledge and understanding would be beneficial
- Willing to develop knowledge of the business, programme and processes
Skills:
- Understanding of Defence Solutions
- Understand impact within wider team
- Good communication skills
