We are supporting a leading engineering organisation in the energy sector, looking to appoint an Electrical Certification Engineer to support projects across power generation and grid integration.
The Role
You will play a key role in the certification and evaluation of power generation assets, ensuring compliance with grid codes and electrical standards across multiple voltage levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of feed-in certificates for power generation plants (LV, MV, HV)
- Evaluation of network studies and assessment of protection concepts
- Certification of electrical systems and components across:
- Wind turbines
- CHP plants
- Gas & steam turbines
- Hydropower plants
- Supporting electrical safety and type certification projects (including wind)
- Providing input on design reviews and general electrical engineering topics
