Electrical Commissioning Engineer

£500 day rate
6 Month initial contract
Essential Skillset:
- HV commissioning of substations and BESS/renewable assets up to 132kV
- End-to-end commissioning of primary & secondary plantg
- Testing of CTs, VTs, transformers, reactors, GIS/switchgear
- Protection relay testing & configuration (ABB / GE / Schneider / Siemens)
- Fault finding and defect resolution during commissioning
- ITPs, commissioning plans, and handover documentation
- Pre-commissioning checks and design/drawing verification
- Strong HV safety compliance, RAMS, ECS card
