Essential skillset:
- Proven experience designing electrical building services systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education or mixed-use developments
- Strong understanding of LV electrical distribution, power, lighting and emergency lighting systems
- Experience producing electrical drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, cable schedules and technical specifications
- Knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), Building Regulations and relevant British Standards
- Experience carrying out electrical calculations, including cable sizing, voltage drop, fault level and protection coordination
- Familiarity with lighting design, small power, fire alarm, security, data and containment systems
- Experience coordinating designs with mechanical engineers, architects, contractors and clients throughout all project stages
- Proficient in AutoCAD, with experience using Revit and Amtech/Trimble ProDesign or similar electrical design software being advantageous
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional UK site visits
