Key Responsibilities
- Commission BMS control systems, controllers, networks and field devices.
- Perform point-to-point testing, I/O checks, functional testing and cause-and-effect verification.
- Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, boilers, chillers, FCUs, VAV systems, pumps and associated equipment.
- Modify and optimise BMS software to meet project specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and communication faults.
- Produce commissioning documentation and test records.
- Support client demonstrations, witness testing and project handover.
- Liaise with project managers, M&E contractors and end users to ensure successful project delivery.
Core Skills
- Commissioning and fault-finding of BMS control systems.
- Strong HVAC controls knowledge.
- Interpretation of electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Experience with Trend, Siemens, Schneider, Tridium, Honeywell and BACnet/Modbus systems.
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites while maintaining high quality and health & safety standards.
