We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Mechanical & Piping Quality Inspector to join a major energy infrastructure project in Western France.
The successful candidate will work as part of the site Construction Supervision team, overseeing quality activities across mechanical and piping works from construction through to pre-commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contractor and subcontractor quality documentation
- Review and approve Quality Plans, ITPs, testing procedures and quality dossiers
- Carry out regular site inspections and quality surveillance
- Ensure construction activities comply with drawings, specifications, quality requirements and applicable standards
- Identify, analyse and support the resolution of quality issues
- Monitor mechanical and piping activities through to pre-commissioning
- Coordinate with contractors, client representatives, construction management and other stakeholders
- Coordinate site quality inspectors where required
Requirements
- 10-15 years' experience in Mechanical & Piping QA/QC, inspection or supervision
- Strong EPC/EPCM site experience
- Previous LNG or major energy infrastructure experience highly desirable
- Previous experience working in France would be advantageous
- Fluent English and French
- Knowledge of ASME, PED and ATEX
- Experience reviewing ITPs, Quality Plans, inspection procedures and quality dossiers
- CSWIP, IWE or relevant NDT qualifications would be beneficial
- VCA-VOL / MASE N2 or equivalent H&S certification desirable
- Strong site inspection, communication and stakeholder management skills
