Site Manager - Solar PV & BESS
Location: Dundee - anticipated initial project
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience
Permanent | UK-wide travel and working away required
I'm recruiting a Site Manager to oversee construction activities on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects for an established renewable energy business.
You'll lead daily site operations, coordinating teams and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality work against the construction programme.
The role
Manage day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
Coordinate subcontractors, labour, deliveries and site resources.
Monitor progress and resolve site delivery issues.
Maintain site safety, quality standards and accurate records.
Work closely with the Project Manager through construction and handover.
What you'll need
Proven site management experience on utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV projects.
Strong practical construction knowledge and subcontractor leadership experience.
A track record of managing safety, quality and programme performance.
Appropriate industry qualifications and valid site management certifications.
Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor experience/qualifications would be advantageous.
BESS experience would be beneficial.
Flexibility to travel and work away on projects across the UK.
Initial project allocations are subject to confirmation. This is a UK-wide delivery role, with locations changing according to project requirements.
