We're recruiting on behalf of an engineering contractor delivering large-scale construction projects in Sweden.

This opportunity offers ownership of electrical work packages from planning and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover, with scope to develop towards a Project Manager position.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll coordinate engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and vendors to deliver your package safely, on programme and within budget.

The role

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of designated electrical packages.
  • Coordinate design information, technical queries, procurement and resources to keep construction moving.
  • Lead engineers, supervisors and subcontractors against agreed programme milestones.
  • Monitor installation progress, resolve delivery issues and report risks to the Project Manager.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, vendors and the wider project team.
  • Support budget monitoring, cost control, variations and subcontractor progress reviews.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout delivery.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging and handover documentation.

What we're looking for

  • A qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least five years' experience in electrical construction project delivery.
  • Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems and infrastructure.

  • Understanding of testing, commissioning and handover requirements.
  • Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness, with an understanding of project budgets and cost control.

Experience delivering electrical packages above €5m, exposure to MV/HV systems and previous team leadership would be advantageous.

Why consider it?

  • Take ownership of substantial electrical work packages.
  • Build experience in programme management, commercial delivery and client engagement.
  • Develop your leadership skills while supporting engineers and supervisors.
  • Access training and development to support progression into Project Management.
